Since the forecast for the weekend was RAIN RAIN RAIN, we decided to make the drive up to Napa and spend time with some of our favorite people, Shane, Lucia and Owen! All we planned to do was wear PJs, watch movies and drink hot chocolate! We got there on Saturday around 2pm and instantly started playing with Owen. He's so cute and has grown up soo much in his first year (I can't wait to enjoy this time with our little one!). We brought out the toy guitar we bought for him and he seemed to love all the flashing lights and sounds emanating from it. He eventually tired and I got to rock him asleep! I don't know why but that was my favorite part of the entire weekend, just something special about rocking a baby to sleep. Anyway, we played some video games, watched some movies and just enjoyed the company. I wished we lived closer so we could do it more often. It was a great weekend with family!
