Last Week in India

Here's what happened during my last week in Bangalore. I must say that I had an AMAZING time on my trip! I really think I had the best trip you could have. Everyone was so nice and willing to introduce me to new things. I got to know everyone a little better and it was even a bit emotional for me to leave after hanging out with them for 2 weeks, but I was happy to return home to my wife & baby!

Saying goodbye to Carl, he's off to the Hyderabad offices!

On one of the floors in the Oracle building we saw some of this sand art on the floors. There were about 6 different designs but I liked this one best.

Group lunch outing to US Pizza (It was nothing like pizza in the US, ha!)! They were playing 50 Cent really loud so maybe that made it US!

Me with Hepsie and Gowri. We had to say goodbye to Gowri on Thursday as he was off to do the next step of his arranged marriage! If all went well over the weekend he might be an engaged man!

Enjoying a light lunch.

I really wanted to get mehendi done and it just so happens that Hepsie had done it before! She bought the mehendi and applied it to both forearms in about 40 mins!

Done! This isn't the finished product though. You let the mehendi dry (it's sorta like mud) while the dye seeps into your skin, then you wash the stuff off and you're left with the design!

It just so happened that Siddharth's last day at Oracle was Friday (my last day in India). We had an emotional goodbye party for him. He's off to be a consultant! Good luck Siddharth!

One last picture with my team. Gowri wasn't there in person but we made the best of it!

Here's the Indian movie we went to see. There were no English subtitles and very little English spoken in the movie but it was a riot to watch. It's breaking all kinds of box office records over there! For me, it was a mix between Austin Powers, iRobot and Terminator!

Thanks to everyone in Bangalore for making my trip a memorable one! Can't wait to make the trip again!
