For a while now, our family has been tossing around the idea of putting together a reunion... well, we've finally started some serious planning and things are underway!! We've been reaching out to as many family members as possible and everyone seems to be really interested in a reunion. My Grandpa Adolph is #11 of 12 children and his oldest brother Ramon had 15 children of his own, so you can image how many people we're talking about here! Due to the potential size of the reunion we put together a small committee to help with the decision making process. To date, we've sent out surveys (asking for everyone's input) and based on those surveys we've selected a Date and Location for the reunion. The 2009 Tafoya Family Reunion will be held on Saturday October 10th, 2009 at Yosemite Lake in Merced, CA!! We're all getting really excited about it but we still have a lot of planning to do.
