Matt & Dani

This year Easter was spent at Aunt DD & Uncle Bill's house in Merced. We always have a great time hanging out with family and this was no exception. Dani and I arrived just after Grandma & Grandpa showed up which was perfect because we had first dibs on the chips & salsa! But, of course, the day is really about the kids. Anastasia and Ignacio (Stasia & Iggy), who are Matt's cousin Jemal's kids, were the stars of the show. Stasia is super competitive and wasn't going to let anyone beat her in the egg (and spoon) race. Needless to say she wasn't too happy when Dani intentionally knocked her egg off the spoon in a feeble attempt to win the race! The egg hunt was a head-to-head competition between the two siblings... Even though Stasia found most of the eggs first, she was a good sister and re-hid the eggs for her brother to find again. All-in-all it was a great (long) day filled with good food and good conversation. -M
