Sunday was a bittersweet birthday for me. Sweet in that I got to spend the day with friends and family. Bitter because we lost our long time bunny Jimi. A few days prior to his passing we noticed that he wasn't acting like himself so we immediately took him to the vet. He spent a few nights there since his temperature was low and he wasn't eating/drinking. We saw him on Sunday at around 3pm and he seemed to be doing slightly better! We decided to keep him there one more night in hopes that he'd be all better by morning. Sadly, we got a call around 11pm saying that he went into cardiac arrest and that they weren't able to save him. On the bright side, at least he's back with his old buddy Jakey (our first bunny who died ~3 years ago). We’ll never forget you buddy...

Mommy, Daddy and Dante have all been home for about 2 weeks now and everything is going great! We've had a ton of visitors (all whom you can see in the picture link provided above) and already have some funny stories to tell. For those who haven't come by the house yet, you are more than welcome to! Hope to see you all soon!

This will probably be the last project nursery update until Baby Tafoya arrives! We have pretty much everything in place and ready to go. The walls are a little bare now, but they will soon be filled once we know who we're decorating for (boy/girl). 
Finally getting around to posting some holiday pictures. Matt wanted to get the tallest tree possible in our new house (10' ceilings!). This tree (with star) measures 9'! We kept it simple this year by only putting up a few of our most favorite ornaments. A week ago Shane, Lucia & Owen came down for a visit. Owen's 1st birthday is on December 21st and since we couldn't make it up for his birthday party, they came to us. As always, we had a great time in their company. Made some gingerbread houses, went on a Christmas light tour and played a LOT with Owen.
